cientific Information Through WhatsApp
Physicians can ask questions in their own words to explore Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) scientific materials and oncology-product information. NIVi’s original scope included BMS publications for ASCO 2026, alongside approved research documents and prescribing information.
Access requires a personal code issued by BMS. Answers are designed to stay within approved materials, acknowledge gaps in the available evidence and avoid patient-specific medical advice. Adverse-event reports and product-quality complaints have defined reporting pathways.

The b-online Technology Behind NIVi
b-online combines AI development, healthcare expertise and medical input around three priorities:
Accuracy: Match questions to relevant products, studies and sources; check numerical data and distinguish research findings from prescribing information and registration status.
Guardrails: Define permitted content, control access and establish boundaries designed to reduce unsupported answers and keep responses within scope.
Quality assessment and validation: Assess answers for relevance, accuracy against source materials, completeness and traceability. Findings guide improvements to the assistant’s responses.
For NIVi, this work brings together b-online’s project and technical teams, medical students supporting quality assurance and the client’s medical advisor. Our goal is to build high-quality healthcare AI assistants through careful engineering and structured evaluation.
Tailored Assistants for HCPs and Patients
b-online develops tailored assistants for healthcare professionals (HCPs) and patients. Applications include scientific engagement, congress content and professional education for HCPs, as well as patient education and navigation of support programmes.
Each assistant is tailored to its audience, brand, approved content, guardrails and escalation requirements. The Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) collaboration described here is specific to NIVi. b-online’s broader technology and development expertise support solutions for other healthcare organisations.
